(Austin, TX) — Today, Joseph Kopser’s campaign for Congress in TX-21 announced the hiring of Hilary Barrett as Campaign Manager. The Kopser campaign released the following statement:

“As we enter the next phase of building a new model of representation for all citizens of TX21, we are building the team to deliver new ideas to Washington and a new commitment to the district. To guide that team, we are excited to announce the hiring of our new Campaign Manager, Hilary Barrett.

“Hilary has worked on campaigns at the local, state, and federal levels in Nevada, California, and Utah gaining invaluable experience in coalition building and campaign integration. During the 2016 cycle, she brought her expertise to  a variety of roles at the Nevada State Democratic Party, electing Democrats up and down the ticket. She finished the election cycle as the Deputy Political Director for Hillary Clinton in Nevada. After the election, Hilary worked as a senior staff member in U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto’s Washington, D.C. office. Most recently, Hilary worked on the 2018 gubernatorial primary campaign for California State Treasurer John Chiang honing her already strong background in operations and political work.”

Barrett joins the growing campaign team beginning today.
