SENATOR ELIZABETH WARREN ENDORSES JOSEPH KOPSER FOR CONGRESS IN TX-21

 

Today, Senator Elizabeth Warren announced her endorsement of Joseph Kopser, the Democratic nominee for Congress in Texas’ 21st Congressional District. Senator Warren released the following statement through Kopser’s campaign.

 

“Joseph Kopser will fight for working families. He’s not running for office to be in the pocket of giant corporations or billionaires. He’s running to fight for Texas families, for better wages and good paying jobs. He believes science and climate change are real. He will fight for Texas everyday and I’m proud to endorse him.”

 

In response to the endorsement, Joseph Kopser said,

 

“I am honored to have the support of Senator Elizabeth Warren in this race for TX-21. Her leadership on the issues we all care about, from workers’ rights to the clean energy economy, has been exemplary. I look forward to working alongside her to fight for a living wage, institute paid family leave, and make good, clean energy jobs a priority.”

 

The endorsement also adds to a growing list of leaders supporting Joseph Kopser, including Senator Kirk Watson, Representative Donna Howard, Representative Eddie Rodriguez, Senator Gonzalo Barrientos, Judge Nelson Wolff, Commissioner Garry Mauro, Commissioner Brigid Shea, Kathleen Tobin Krueger, Mayor Daniel Guerrero, Paul Begala, and Matt Angle.
