Joseph Kopser’s Campaign for Congress in TX-21 Continues to Increase Staff, Has Knocked 40,000 Doors in 2018

(San Antonio, TX) — Joseph Kopser–veteran, tech entrepreneur, and candidate for TX-21–announced today that he is increasing his campaign staff to place dedicated field organizers throughout the district. Building on its significant existing infrastructure of volunteers and coordinators, the campaign will onboard additional full-time staff in Bexar County and the Texas Hill Country.

“We’ve seen it across this district; once people learn our message of common sense, independent leadership, and fighting against Washington inaction, they want to be a part of our team. To make sure that message gets out to every voter in TX-21, we’re bringing it to them–by hiring talented, enthusiastic staff who can meet them where they are. I’m proud to bring the same principles to our campaign that I brought to my military career and my company; like the rest of our team, our new staff ranges in age, background, and veteran status.”

Kopser also announced that his campaign has knocked over 40,000 doors in 2018, including 10,000 in the General Election alone.

“Thanks to our dedicated volunteers across TX-21, our team has now knocked on over 40,000 doors this year. We are engaging voters of every party, including many who tell us they’ve never had a Congressional candidate in their neighborhood before, because we know that at the end of the day we have far more in common than that which separates us.”

The Kopser campaign will continue to hire staff, recruit volunteers, and use social media to reach as many voters as possible to restore real leadership to TX-21.

Background:

Joseph Kopser is a 20-year Army veteran, technology entrepreneur, husband and father of three daughters, and Democratic nominee for Congress in TX-21. His candidacy is driven by concern for the future of our country and the path Washington leadership is taking. He is building a new coalition of voters who believe the values, priorities, and expectations of Texas’ 21st congressional district will serve as a model of service and representation for Texas and the United States.
